Back on line!

Well for some reason blogs are no longer blocked.

I am feeling a little bit better. I am still coughing. I hate being sick. From now on I am going to self-medicate. It took 4 hours to get in and out of the Care Now place. Plus they consider themselves specialists and not generalists so it cost $35 for a co-pay instead of $25. How is a walk-in clinic considered a specialist? I have to find a doctor!

Now onto politics. I am so tired of hearing about Obama. I am terrified of the fact that he is going to be the president. First of all, I am not sure how he is going to be with all the questions surrounding him. Things like the fact he can't produce a birth certificate to prove he was born in the US. There is a lawsuit about this. They are looking into his campaign funds because they suspect some of the funds are from terrorist organizations. No one seems to be very concerned about it though. That bothers me. The race issue bothers me too. I am tired of hearing that he's black. First of all he's biracial. His mom is white. And race is no reason to vote for someone. I can't believe all of these black churches that are celebrating his election when so much of what he stands for goes against God and Christian values. That tells me they voted for him because of his color. That tells me that there are a lot of people in America that are stupid. Yes, I said stupid. If we want to get past race issues in then stop making a big deal about it. Consider him a person and that's it. I am not saying it isn't worth mentioning, it just isn't worth harping on. American's should be ashamed of putting someone into office just to make history. There are more important things at stake.

Additional note: I looked and it seems that he did produce a birth certificate. Not sure why I keep hearing he hasn't.

I agree that voting for Obama based on race alone is stupid. However, it sounds like you just called anyone who voted for Obama stupid. I don't consider myself a stupid person, and I voted for Obama. Not because I agree with everything he says...if I waited for that I would never vote, and Ron Paul didn't get on the ticket. I just dislike McCain more than Obama.

The big issue for me this election was foreign policy, and while I don't know exactly what Obama will do, I DO know how McCain would handle things. And I'm not impressed.

And please don't act like McCain has better policies and/or beliefs than Obama. Past actions just don't pan out...

Just out of curiosity, what does Obama stand for that goes against Christian values, other than the "women should have a choice" stance of most Democrats?

Jeff,
I am aware that when it comes to politics that we have to choose between polititians so we are always choosing between 2 evils.

I do not agree 100% with McCain. But when it comes right down to it, Obama is a relativist. What is right for you may not be right for me. There is no truth. I have to vote based on my Christian beliefs. When it comes down to it, God is in charge and will either bless or destroy this nation. I firmly believe that if we put someone in charge that pro-choice, pro- gay marriage, and doesn't believe in one truth that they can not lead this country in the way God wants it to be. No man is perfect. David was a good leader but he obvioulsy had his faults. I wouldn't call everyone that voted for Obama stupid, if you voted for him just to make history by having the 1st black president then yes, that is stupid. Otherwise, I would say those that voted for him are.... well to be honest I am not sure what to call people that voted for him. See I can't see how a Christian can vote for him. Now before you say I am saying you are not a Christian.... I know you and I know that you are. I just have an issue that I am not afraid to challange Christians that don't vote based on their Christianity to the best of their ability. God will take care of us if we do what he asks, not just individually, but as a country.

The birth certificate was not really legal. The stamp on it was in a different place than the one that was sent to the press for appeasement. Still questions.
Did you see the latest NRA magazine? You know that Obama would have you prosecuted if you defended yourself in your own home with a gun? He has befriended a known "traiter", Ayers? and attended a church where the preacher preached against the USA?
These are just a few things. I know that he is just a puppet, and really am concerned what the puppeteers are going to do to our country? Mom

I'm Christian, and I just couldn't vote for a philandering guy who left his injured/disfigured wife when she needed him the most for a primped up, 6 million dollar a year earning, plastic-faced barbie doll.

or..on the other hand.. I wanted more available healthcare, better diplomatic relations, better tax policy for the middle class, more focus on education, more regulation of wall street, etc. etc. etc.

Boy did you open up some feelings for some people! I am not sure what decision Christian Americans really had to make in this election. Morals are a christian attribute, I think! And I do not believe God would want us to compromise them for anything else!!!! No I do not think McCain was the best choice but the Republican party has morals(at least their platform does). Not sure what the Democratic party has.
So since the stupid people won this election . . . I am praying daily that God will get into Mr Obama's(or "President elect" Obama)heart and mind and hopefully lead us as a christian nation founded on God! I will pray for those puppeteers also.
